Oliver is a nearly 4-year-old brindle French Bulldog. He went missing on February 10th, 2022 from our house on the corner of Riverbank and Longridge in North Stamford, Connecticut. He was wearing a bright red Nylon vest/Harness. The harness velcros and clips shut. The last person to see him was the dog walker. I was home and the dog walker claims she returned both dogs (our Black Lab and Oliver), but I never saw nor heard them return. Our cameras were not functional at the time, so we can't verify the accuracy of the dog walker's statements. Oliver would typically come to find me after a walk and nap at my feet. I realized within an hour of Oliver's reported return that he was missing.

My daughter, husband and I checked every possible place inside and outside of our house. We alerted the owner of the dog walking company and found our interaction with them to be very disappointing.

Oliver started displaying seizure-like behavior in the last year and the vet put him on medication that reduced the frequency of his episodes. He hasn't received that medication since he went missing. Some of his seizures are grand-mal and others are hyper-focused events. The phase after a seizure can be a delicate time. Oliver can become very aggressive in his post-seizure event. We are very concerned that if someone has taken Oliver in that he could seriously injure someone after an episode.

Oliver is a "velcro" dog to his people. He is shy around strangers but really enjoys being near his family. He loves his crate and his routine. He and the Black Lab are a bonded pair, and you will rarely see one without the other. Oliver has never left the yard unattended. We do have an invisible fence but Oliver did not have his collar on. It needs to be removed from both dogs before they are able to leave the property on walks. Our black lab is really struggling with his absence and if she could speak I am sure the mystery would be solved.

Please share this story with your friends and neighbors. Someone could have taken him in thinking he is a stray, someone could have rehomed him for profit and that family may not know he has a home and he may just be out there scared, hungry, and alone.

Please help us bring Oliver home.

We are offering a cash reward for his return.
